Yes! We love to share as many of our flavours with you before you commit. Simply book a time to visit us at our market stand at Blaauwklippen Family Market any Saturday or Sunday 10:00-16:00.

We make quality ice cream that makes everyone happy, so talk to us about your dietary requirements (we make gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and nut free options).

We offer a two hour scoop experience PLUS an extra hour beforehand to stock the scoop freezer and to make the cones (right in front of your eyes).

Yes, and full shade! Keeping the ice cream frozen on a hot day can be a challenge. So, if you book us, we’ll need a plug point and (if we’re scooping while the sun is out) we’ll need to be in full shade (under cover or under a big tree – sorry, an umbrella is not going to cut it).

Both our smaller and larger carts need an area of about 2m x 2m (the larger cart dimensions are 1m420 (w) x 800 (d) x 1m400 (h) when folded down for transport and 2m600 (w) x 800 (d) x 2m140 (h) at it’s full extension while the smaller cart is 1m200 (w) x 1m (d) x 1m400 (h) when folded down for transport and 2m140 (h) at its full extension.

Our larger cart can, but not the smaller cart (ironic, no?)

No, that would be very bad and unsafe for our staff and lovely (and heavy) carts.

Yes, a 50% deposit secures your booking. The remainder is due one week before the event.

Your deposit is fully refundable (minus a R200 administration fee) if you cancel 8 weeks before the event date. After this period, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

If you reschedule 8 weeks before the event, your booking will be transferred to the new date at no cost, provided the new date is not already booked for another event. Less than 8 weeks before the time, a rebooking fee will apply, depending on the notice period.

We set up the cart well before the event at an agreed time (usually in the morning) and then arrive 1 hour before your booked service time to stock the freezer and to start making the fresh butter cones.

No, please understand that our prices are fixed and carefully considered. We are a small business that only uses quality ingredients and we always pay our staff fairly.
